Understanding Yoga is the True Spiritual Life

Yoga is the mind, body and spirit. Bring them together in balance and harmony. The first thing is to have and open mind with God. Devotion is the key to embracing your life to its fullest potential. Bahkti yoga is devotion to your meditation. You will reach a feeling that is not in your mind. This is something that can not be thought through.  Experience  of letting go and letting God is the highest of all high that you will ever have.

Everything in our lives comes from God. God never quit giving and has showered us with many gifts and blessings for our highest good. Energy that we have is from God. When your mind is humble and open to the higher consciousness, your awareness is very clear. It is a feeling and a knowing sense that you develop with breathing correctly and meditation

Energy forms the template or blueprint around which our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realities are built. Good energy results in good realities, bad energy results in dysfunctional realities. Energy also provides us with life force much like the way our blood provides oxygen to the cells of our body.

Energy can be moved and manipulated. Bad energy can be cleared and replaced with good energy.  They are a few people that have been blessed to help clear and move energy.

Love is a special energy from God. True love comes through the heart and is a concern for the welfare of another without expectations.

Euphoria vs. energy of God: Euphoria sure feels and very alluring. But it is not the highest energy or the highest good. Drugs and alcohol can induce euphoria that is  not very high spiritual state. Many “new age” energies are euphoric. All of these things are distractions and can lead us off the path back to God. The energy of God is very peaceful and light and feels great. Concentrating on the Name of God is an excellent way to attain and maintain this energy.

Most of our personal choices come from ego and get us into trouble. Although we do our best to think and feel things out, this is not  the highest outcome that could happen.

Personal will (ego) is an attempt to play God. It is doomed to failure. We spend much of our time and energy trying to impose our personal will on personal viewpoints upon others.  We struggle miserably and are not a peace. A better approach is to give our problems to God and follow His will (Divine will)

When others come to us with their problems, we would do well to listen with compassion, but not take the problems as our own.  No one can solve another’s problems.

Before we are in a position to help other, we must first take care of ourselves. Once this is done we can lend a hand to others and save as many as we can. This means ‘cleaning up our own backyard’ before we clean up another’s.

Prayer or Meditation:  There are many types of prayer. Among these are: Concentrating on the Name of God. This will bring in the energy of God, which is the universal remedy for all problems, and the source of personal fulfillment and happiness. Human service performed with a good attitude. When we perform human service we allow God to work through us and His work. Good deeds are important, but their energetic benefits can be spoiled by a bad attitude. Talking to God with humility, reverence, honesty, purity, sincerity, and an open heart.  God deserves our utmost respect. He can not be deceived, tricked,  manipulated or coerced like our fellow humans. Think good, act good, be good. When we have purified our consciousness, only good things can occur. Our whole life could be a prayer.

Pride: When we succeed in our endeavors, often we feel proud, believing that we are responsible, deserving acclaim from our fellow humans. We believe that our intellect, talent, strength, power, will and perseverance are solely responsible. What we do not realize is that God’s energy is responsible for all these things and for everything; we are just instruments whom God acts through.

Sometimes it takes hardship and suffering to learn humility. When everything we have done still isn’t enough to end our suffering or solve our problems, we are brought to our knees.  It is only then that we realize that we are powerless and that a Higher Power, God, is in control, not us.

Spiritual lessons: Spiritual knowledge is obtained through life lessons.  Everyone has a different destiny, therefore we should not compare ourselves to others. We should not judge or criticize others, because we do not know their destiny. Using our energy from God and the wisdom we have learned, is how we give the healing that others need. Human service is next to God.  Spiritual arrogance and feelings of superiority is another trap to be avoided. We are all created equal. Arrogance is a type of fantasy, and is a distraction from embracing reality. Humility is embracing reality and promotes spiritual progress.

The is all the beginning to yoga. The mind is clear of garbage and trust your heart. The mind blocks the energy from trying to come through you. When you use self discipline, devotion and never give up, your body starts to catch up. Reality is purifying our consciousness and being humble. This is not a quick experience. You learn patience and always stay connected to prayer.   Everything in your life changes. Monitor our thoughts and language and to purge everything that is not with God.  A spiritual master is the one most suited to assist with this task. Left to ourselves, we may never learn in this lifetime.
